Sleeping and eating nothing but bland foods for two days straight is not any fun. I am bored, yet my head still hurts and my eye is majorly twitching. This has been my view. Not too bad considering.

Art Lab #001

Last week I hosted the first official DC Art Lab. My bro-in-law's mom gave me the idea and I couldn't be more excited. Art Lab is structured like book club but is focused on art projects instead. Each month a project is selected and then the group comes back together a month later to show/tell/discuss everybody's work. Then another project is selected for the following month.

I have found a decent sized group of friends and acquaintances and we are already off working on our first project. Should anyone like to join us in our quest to actively work on art, you can.

PROJECT #001

Recreate an existing piece of art in your own way. You can use any medium you wish, just make it yours.

We got the idea from this photography project. While photography is certainly an option there are so many other avenues you can explore.

We are meeting again on February 20th. Keep your eyes out for some snazzy projects!

Last week I woke up to a walk in the snow. Today I woke up with my window open and the sun shining on my face.

I just ordered this today! I cannot wait to get my hands on those lenses!
